How do I know if an email that I received about my account is from yahoo or att concerning my email account?

being suspended unless I confirm my user name, password, date of birth and country or territory. The address that this email came from is "Account Online Team" %26lt;Info@account.org. Please advise.|||Mail from Yahoo now has the purple Y! on the email.

But this is not from Yahoo.

Yahoo will never ask for your password.

No one legitimate will ever ask you for your password in

an email. Its always someone trying to break into your account. No exceptions.

This is what Yahoo says about this matter

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya鈥?/a>|||Yahoo would not ask you for your personal information in an E-mail like that.

It is a scam to get your personal information and/or your money, or both!

Do not respond to it.

Report it, forward it to the FTC at spam@uce.gov and to the abuse desk of the sender's ISP.

For yahoo, report them here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya鈥?/a>

Choose Fraud as the reason for the violation you're reporting on.

Also, if the E-mail appears to be impersonating a bank or other company or organization, forward the message to the actual organization.|||If you have had an e-mail asking for your details be careful. This is a known phishing scam attempting to get you to give them all your personal info. It's not from Yahoo, just delete it and ignore it. Good luck and be careful.|||Don't answer it. Only if Yahoo wants your sign-in and password. No more.
