I received this email the other day and I'm not sure if it's a scam or real. I don't have a western union account and I sent this to the westernunion website under fraud but they still haven't got back to me. Can someone help me determine: SCAM or TIME TO CHECK MY CREDIT REPORT?

It is the malware in the file attachment. If for some reason westernunion.com ever really did want to contact you, it is unlikely that they would use a file attachment.|||If you don't have a Western Union account then it's just a phishing scam. They send these out to everyone hoping even 1 out of the 100,000 people have an account and respond, and they empy their account
Besides, you would never be addressed as "Western Union Member" - if this were real and you had an account, you would always be addressed by your registered name -- Dear Jane Doe
DO NOT download any form - it's probably infected|||You're right! WU doesn't do typographic mistakes.
"To restore you account we have attached a form to this email. Please download the form and follow the instructions on your screen."
This means "Yo sucker, I Mbeki from Nigeria, I steal all you money if you fill in form I sent"|||I have no idea but i wouldn't download it just to be on the safe side. Your not a Western Union member so i'd just forget it your not losing out. Youv'e done your part by reporting it.
Either it's a scam or someone else has used your email i bet.|||rule of thumb - if it sounds like a scam there is a high probability that it is a scam
if in doubt phone western union and speak to a customer service representative|||If you downloaded that form you need to do a virus and malware scan right away|||Western Union is not a scammer, but that email is!
Careful!
